Heart based approaches include powerful ways to access the heart's wisdom and increase compassion for self and others. The heart has the capactiy to be loving, accepting, nurturing and wise in the most difficult of situations, and to recognize and experience this is quintessentially healing. There are profound techniques that are simple to learn that can reconnect you with your heart - bringing a feeling of clarity and compassion. You may have been feeling lonely, unworthy, depressed, anxious, that you don't matter, or with physical complaints. Having your heart back on line, so to speak, can bring enormous relief!

Brief Therapy

Perhaps you are looking for short term help only - but you don't want to sacrifice depth or quality. There are powerful approaches that to address that - bringing meaningful changes in short periods of time. This work can and is often focused on specific complaints that you want to address. With a blend of informative and experiential tools, change is brought about by more than just insight, but with experiential and 'aha' moments that ground and solidify the changes.

EFT

Emotional Freedom technique (EFT) is a therapeutic approach that is quickly gaining interest and momentum in the professional community due to its fast and easy manner of relieving stress, trauma and distressing symptoms. It is an astonishingly helpful technique providing tremendous and rapid relief. Best of all, it can be easily taught to clients who want to have a way to help themselves outside of the therapy sessions.

You are unique

I work with many approaches not mentioned here, including, but not limited to, cognitive therapy, guided imagery, EMDR, somatic based therapies, Spiritually based work and more. Each person is entirely unique, and there is no one approach that fits all. I have been trained in many therapeutic approaches and can work with ones that you are comfortable with and that I know to be therapeutically effective and healing.
